Gina Greene, RYT 500, CMT/LMT
Gina Greene, RYT-500 has been practicing yoga for over twenty years. She began teaching sixteen years ago upon request and hasn't turned away from the invitation since.
She tasted yoga for the first time in NYC at The Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center practiced with Rodney Yee's video at home and was delighted to discover Melissa Spamer offering TriYoga flows in Kalamazoo, MI after moving back home. She was drawn to yoga as a possible way to find healing from chronic low back and hip pain from an injury during her early college years. Through yoga and massage, she found healing, stability and ease. Gina's initial certification was with Kali Ray's TriYoga system. She decided to pursue her 200 hour teacher training with Melissa Spamer in 2007 and was grateful for the latitude and breadth of the teaching. Gina was excited to embark on her 500 hour Lotus in the Flame teacher training in 2016. She has been touched, inspired and deeply seen by her teacher Melissa Spamer and has the utmost gratitude for the many other teachers (some from the world of yoga and many, many others) who have supported her wondering spirit, desire for learning and her continual journey of... becoming. |
