Véronique
This class is for everyone so options are offered in all poses and flows in order to accommodate students at every level. Come and join this once a week class that is very popular and has been taught by Véronique for many years. From late spring to early fall, when the temperature's above 60F, we will often hold class outside on the lawn by the studio!
Yin Yoga focuses on longer holds of the postures in order to access and release the deeper layers of the body. The holds last between 2 and 5 minutes which allows a steady and peaceful focus on the joints. This class is slow and meditative, having a deeply calming effect.
Flow classes weave and sequence all kind of postures in either a very slow pace to stay present with each move in and out of the Asanas (poses), or, at a very dynamic pace to keep you moving. Regardless of pace, Vinyasa style links the breath to the movements. All levels of experience are welcome!

During a session, we will use specific movements and postures, conscious breathing (pranayama), eye focus (drishti), hand positions (mudras), mantras and meditations to activate and harmonize the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energies. We will utilize the foundational practices of kundalini yoga to regulate the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, purify the blood and to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit. The physical and mental practices prepare the body for the transformative effects of the meditation. My classes are intended for all level of experience and fitness. |

Tantric Kundalini yoga classes are a dynamic blend of postures, pranayama, mantra, music and meditation, which teach you the art of relaxation, self healing and elevation. Balancing body and mind enable you to experience the clarity and beauty of your soul. The combination of posture, mantra, and meditation combine to put positive pressure on the subconscious mind to allow it to clear limiting beliefs and patterns that are otherwise inaccessible.
Although classes can be intensive, no experience is necessary. No special props required. |
